Thermo Scientific ProSightPC software, the first stand-alone software for analyzing top-down proteomics data, has been enhanced to support all high-mass-accuracy, high-resolution MS/MS proteomics experiments. ProSightPC™ 2.0 enables high-throughput processing of accurate-mass MS2 data, whether from top-down, middle-down or bottom-up experiments, and facilitates the characterization of proteins with known PTMs.

ProSightPC 2.0 software includes five different search modes:

These five different search modes can be used to determine exact protein sequences, including modifications and alternative splicing. The software can process fragmentation from ECD, IRMPD or CID to determine the protein sequence. The proprietary ProSight Warehouse allows users to import FASTA databases and shotgun annotate these databases with all possible modifications. ProSightPC software also includes the Sequence Gazer that helps users to validate their search results and verify that they have the correct sequence.
