The DXR Raman Microscope features multiple laser wavelength options and a choice of spectral resolution. Exchanging lasers, filters, and gratings can be done by the user as the DXR features components using SmartLock technology. SmartLock also ensures compatibility and reproducibility when exchanging components. The system provides versatility, flexibility, exceptional spatial resolution and confocal microscopy all within a Class 1 laser safety enclosure.
The DXR Raman Microscope is designed from start to finish as a robust analytical tool. The system features patented autoalignment, automated calibration, a spectrograph with no moving parts, and user replaceable pre-aligned Smart components which all combine to make the instrument easy to maintain in prime working condition.
The DXR Raman Microscope system features a research grade microscope with a wide range of objectives, illuminators, and viewing options. Combined with high brightness lasers and a precision motorized stage micron level mapping and analysis can be achieved. The system employs autofocus, autoexposure and Smart Backgrounds (collected when the instrument is not being used), allowing the user to collect good data effortlessly. Automatic fluorescence correction and automatic intensity correction minimize background interference and provide reproducible, comparable results. The laser power regulator, a revolutionary new device, takes the reproducibility of the system to levels not seen before in any other instrument.
OMNIC Software Suite
The DXR Raman Microscope uses the same OMNIC Professional Software Suite that drives all Thermo Scientific laboratory systems. OMNIC is an intuitive, user-friendly software package that offers all of the power and versatility required to exploit the capabilities of the spectrometer.
OMNIC Array Automation software automates the acquisition of data from sample arrays, including the popular multi-well format, while OMNIC Atlµs" software supports high-precision sample mapping to permit fully automated collection of dispersive Raman spectra over a large area of the sample. Powerful quantitative methods, including hierarchical cluster analysis and multivariate curve resolution, assist the analyst in rapidly extracting meaningful information from the large quantities of information-rich spectra generated by both mapping and high-throughput applications. In addition, Thermo Scientific offers a comprehensive line of Raman spectral libraries for easy identification of unknown sample components.
For installing the DXR Raman Microscope in a regulated or quality control environment, we offer a wide selection of compliance products and services to reduce implementation time and assure system performance.
Raman Spectral Libraries
Thermo Scientific offers the largest collection of Raman spectral libraries¡in the world, ranging from broad-scope databases to highly application-specific collections. Thermo Scientific provides you with options to search against our entire collection online when you need it, or to install these locally on your PC so that you have ready access to those you search most. No system takes you from samples to answers faster.Meta Info
