Thermo Fisher Scientific has announced findings from a market survey on LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) standardization and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), conducted on its behalf by IDC, a Massachusetts-based research and consulting firm.
The new study identifies and quantifies a number of compelling benefits that can be realized from harmonizing processes and standardizing on a single global LIMS. Entitled "Standardizing on LIMS: TCO and ROI for the Multi-Lab Setting", the study is the first of its kind to investigate the IT and business value of LIMS standardization. |
